Vice President Faisal Naseem has concluded his two-day trip to Fuvahmulah City and returned back to Malé City.
Vice President Naseem was at Fuvahmulah to participate in the engagements held in the city as part of the tour by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed to the southernmost cities. They were joined by a delegation of cabinet ministers and senior government officials.
In Fuvahmulah, the vice president joined the president to hold discussions with the Fuvahmulah City Council, Women's Development Committee (WDC), and residents of the city. He also visited and toured important landmarks and developmental sites initiated by the government and checked the progress of the projects.
The objective of the tour by the president to the cities is to track the progress of the development projects, listen to people's concerns, and incorporate their wishes into the development plans as per the pledges of the administration.
