President inaugurates new mosque in Hithadhoo

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has inaugurated the Masjid Ibrahim in Hithadhoo, Addu City.

After inaugurating the new mosque, President Solih joined the prayer congregation along with his delegation of senior government officials. The mosque has a capacity of 500 worshippers and was built with special areas dedicated for women on each side of the building which can accommodate 100 female worshippers at a time.

President Solih inaugurated the mosque as part of his four-day trip to the southern cities. He is accompanied by First Lady Fazna Ahmed and a high-level delegation of the government.
