Thoddoo Island Council of Alifu Alifu Atoll has become the first island council to register as a member of Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC).

MMPRC recently took the decision to register island councils as members of the corporation, to promote the islands as destinations of local tourism. The island council of Thoddoo, a prominent island in the guesthouse industry, signed as the first island council member of MMPRC.
