BCC to open SME Hub in May

Business Centre Corporation Limited (BCC) has announced it is preparing to open the ground floor of the small and medium enterprises (SME) hub in May. BCC is developing the three-story commercial space for SMEs in collaboration with the Ministry of Economic Development.

Speaking to PSM News, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of BCC Samih Adam said the development of the SME hub is ongoing at a rapid pace and that the upper two floors will be open within the next two months. He detailed that the first floor will be dedicated to small bakeries while the second floor will be decided to entertainment, salons, and cultural activities and that the space will include a mini-cinema and an art gallery.

The SME Hub, located in STO Allied Building in Male’ City, is a three-storey multi-purpose facility that provides a market space with affordable kiosks on monthly contracts for businesses to sell products and services. BCC also plans to open restaurants, cafes, recreational activities, and entertainment for visitors at the hub. The space will also provide opportunities for performing artists from various fields to showcase their talent and further their careers.
