Hiyaa tenants asked to use WAMCO waste units

Waste Management Corporation Limited (WAMCO) has announced that customers residing in the Hiyaa flats are required to use the newly opened waste units located on the ground floor for waste disposal.

WAMCO stated that customers in Hiyaa Towers H13, H14, H15, and H16 are requested to use the newly opened waste unit and that waste that is brought for disposal must be segregated into kitchen waste, dry waste, and plastics. The customers are also requested to refrain from leaving waste outside or using any other dustbins. The company stated that it will roll out this service to all the buildings in the Hiya Flat Complex, as soon as the work on the remaining waste units is complete.

WAMCO collects waste between 2100hrs and 0000hrs at the Hiyaa Flat Complex and will start billing customers in the area for the service beginning next month. The company stated that details of the bill will be sent via SMS to the registered owners of the flats. It also advised customers to use its call and pickup service to dispose of heavy and large amounts of waste.
