Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has begun a survey to gain public opinion on the design of the Hiyaa Park.
Hulhumale’ Phase II is designed under a special land-use plan to provide more green space for residents. As part of the efforts, HDC is constructing the first park in the Hiyaa Flats area and has completed stage 1 of the project and has begun stage 2. The park is being built in the empty block between the bus stops in the area and consists of play areas for children, as well as areas for various sports and empty spaces for walking and lounging.
HDC has opened the design of stage 2 for public scrutiny to build the park in accordance with the wishes of the residents. The company has begun a survey and has also held an event to showcase the design of the park and obtain public opinions on establishing restaurants and cafes at the park. Individuals who wish to provide their opinion on the park’s design can participate in the survey online.
