Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Maldives (CA Maldives) has conducted a career guidance session to provide information regarding the income support project, which aims to develop skills and knowledge for those who wish to start working in accounting field.
During the session, participants were provided with information regarding scholarship opportunities and different career prospects in the accounting field. Participants were also given the chance to ask questions during a panel discussion with professionals in the field, which included council members of the CA Maldives Fathimath Rozeena, Rifaath Jameel, and Mohamed Haleem.
Additionally, the Auditor General of the Maldives and the President of CA Maldives Hussain Niyazy, along with the delegates of CA Maldives, paid a courtesy call to Minister of Higher Education Dr. Ibrahim Hassan. During the meeting, they discussed potential scholarship opportunities for accounting courses.
CA Maldives is a legal body that was established in 2020 and mandated with the regulation of the accounting profession in the Maldives.
