The National Boating Association (NBA) has opened nominations for the Maldives Boating Awards 2022.
Maldives Boating Awards is an initiative of the NBA to recognise the strength of the boating industry and the services rendered by the service providers. NBA revealed the awards will be presented to nominees in different categories on a sectoral and standard basis, adding that awards will be given out in 29 categories this year. The nominations for the awards opened on June 10 and nominations are open till July 15.
NBA said one can be self-nominated or nominated by someone else, and all nominees must be members of the association. The two most special awards at the awards ceremony are the most outstanding person in the boarding industry and the special recognition award for service to the industry.
The Maldives Boating Awards 2022 will be held in November. The award was introduced in 2014. However, the awards ceremony was not held for the past two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
