The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has started the development of two hospitals and three clinics in Hulhumale' Phase 2.
The two hospitals will be developed on 71,127.92 acres of land and 67,522.01 acres of land. HDC is currently evaluating the applications of the applicants after announcing the construction of one of the hospitals in January.
In addition, three clinics and four pharmacies will be set up in the commercial units at the bottom of the Hiyaa flats. With this, 7 health facilities will be established in the Hiyaa flat area.
The first clinic was opened on June 15, on the lowest floor of the 12th tower of the Hiyaa flat.
Ever since families began moving to Hiyaa flats, HDC has been working to establish essential services in the area. As such, schools, mosques and shops are now being established in the area.
