Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) has held the Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 2021.
During the AGM, the board of directors provided details on the overall business performance, organisational highlights and the achievements of port workers and members of the port community. Minister of State for Finance Anas Abdul Sattar and delegates from the Auditor General’s Office attended the event.
Speaking at the AGM, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MPL Shahid Ali highlighted the main work conducted by the company in 2021 and its plans to expand operations. Additionally, shareholders approved the audit report and the financial statements for 2021, as well as the distribution of dividends and employee salary bonuses. They also approved the audit to be conducted this year.
