Dhiraagu signs as Digital Partner for ICTSR 2022

Dhiraagu, the first Maldivian telecommunications company, has signed as the Digital Partner for the International Conference on Tourism and Social Research (ICTSR) 2022.

The conference is organised by Clique College and co-hosted by the Curtin University of Australia and the Nottingham Trent University of the United Kingdom (UK). The conference will take place from August 2-5 in Ukulhas, Alifu Alifu Atoll.

The theme for the conference is Rethinking Tourism, Hospitality and Events for a Better Future and will focus on how global tourism hospitality, and events can be re-developed following the COVID-19 pandemic. Key figures, policy decision-makers, and academics from the tourism and hospitality industry will share their research, case studies, and stories about current challenges and possible ways forward in building a more resilient global tourism industry.

Dhiraagu noted that this year marks the golden jubilee of Maldives tourism and stated that it remains committed to supporting events and initiatives that will further enhance the industry, as the digital transformation partner for the hospitality industry in the Maldives.
