MSS Graphene to arrive with cargo late August

Maldives State Shipping (MSS) has stated that MSS Graphene will be arriving with cargo from Malaysia and Singapore later this month.

The agreement to purchase MSS Graphene was signed in July. It is the third vessel to be purchased by MSS.

Speaking to PSM News, Saeed said that the cargo from Malaysia and Singapore is being loaded onto MSS Graphene and that it will depart for the Maldives this month. He said that the ship will undergo dry docking prior to commencing direct services later in August.

Furthermore, Managing Director Saeed said there is high demand for shipping cargo from Singapore and Malaysia to the Maldives and that MSS Graphene has the capacity to carry 420 loaded containers and 680 unloaded containers. He said MSS expects the ship to transport goods every 21 days.

MSS is a shipping and logistics company owned by STO, offering an extensive international liner shipping service. MSS began its services in 2020 to reduce the price of goods imported into the country.
