Ministry of Education has decided to replace the Edexcel A Level and AS Level examinations with the Cambridge International A Level and AS Level examinations.
The education ministry stated that the Cambridge examination papers will be used for the academic years of 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 and that the students currently enrolled in higher education will not see any change. The A Level and AS Level examinations for the upcoming two academic years will be held in October/November in 2024 and 2025.
Opportunities to enroll in higher education have been provided in all the atolls, as part of the government’s policy to provide more opportunities for students to further their education.
