The second edition of the Southern Maldives Business Expo has commenced in Addu City. The expo was launched by the Minister of State for Finance Anas Abdul Sattar.
Southern Maldives Business Expo focuses on business opportunities in the south, building relationships with like-minded businesses and providing a platform to showcase and promote local products. The expo, organised by Titan Maldives, will be held from 25-27 August.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Southern Maldives Business Expo, State Minister Anas said many young and talented entrepreneurs are emerging in the Maldives, therefore such expos are important for networking.
The Southern Maldives Business Expo will feature exhibitions as well as panel discussions. There will be a panel discussion on economic trade and a panel discussion on insurance and finance. Additionally, panel discussions on education, health, and renewable energy will also be held on the last day of the expo.
The first such expo was held in 2019.
