PCB appoints Yoosuf Siraj as WAMCO Managing Director

Privatisation Board and Corporatisation Board (PCB) has appointed Yoosuf Siraj as the Managing Director of Waste Management Corporation (WAMCO).

Until his appointment, Siraj was the Deputy Managing Director of WAMCO. He was appointed four months after the post became vacant. During that period, Siraj played a major role in the management of WAMCO. The previous Managing Director of WAMCO Adam Mohamed was transferred to the post of Managing Director of Maldives Post Limited (MPL).

WAMCO was established in 2017 for the waste management of the Greater Male' Region. However, WAMCO provides waste management services in the atolls as well.
