Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has brought changes to the minibus routes based on the segments of Ameenee Magu that are closed off following the commencement of the road development project launched by the Road Development Corporation (RDC).
The development of Ameenee Magu will be carried out in 13 segments. RDC has now commenced the first segment of the project, closing off a part of 100 metres of the road in Henveiru that connects to Boduthakurufaanu Magu.
Minibus services were launched on September 6 under the Raajje Transport Link (RTL) and Ameenee Magu is the main route of the service. Ameenee Magu is one of the busiest roads of Male’ City due to the high number of office buildings and schools and is one of the few roads that run across the length of the capital.
