Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) has stated it will disclose the names of parties that have failed to pay taxes.
As such, MIRA will be disclosing the names of parties that failed to submit the statement and paid taxes for Goods and Services Tax (GST), Green Tax, and Withholding Tax as of December 2021. The authority will also disclose the names of parties that have failed to submit the income tax statement and failed to pay the income tax for 2021.
MIRA stated that it has begun implementing its enforcement policy and urged parties to submit their statements and pay their taxes before the deadlines.
