Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company Limited (MIFCO) has opened a fish store in Hulhumale’ Phase II. The fish store, on the ground floor of Hiyaa Tower 2, was officially opened by Chairman of MIFCO Hussain Amr and Parliamentarian Ali Niyaz.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Amr said MIFCO always works closely with the public and that the new outlet in Hulhumale’ Phase II will allow residents to buy its products with convenience and ease. He added that the fish store is an additional development for the services provided by the company.
Also at the ceremony, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ismail Fauzee said that MIFCO is prepared to release new products to the market after the product development is completed in the near future.
MIFCO allowed customers to taste samples of its products at the ceremony, including the popular Drained Tuna Chunks. The fish store in Hulhumale’ Phase II is the fourth outlet MIFCO opened in the Greater Male’ Region. The store is open from 0830-2200hrs.
MIFCO has released several innovative products to the market over the years. As such, the company introduced two products of canned tuna last year, which are available at all MIFCO stores.
