Fenaka Corporation Limited has launched the Fenaka Ice application for fishermen to easily and conveniently purchase ice. The application was launched at the agreement signing ceremony to transfer 14 ice plants of the Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company Limited (MIFCO) to Fenaka Corporation Limited.
At the ceremony, Managing Director Ahmed Saeed said the aim of Fenaka in operating the ice plants is to continuously supply ice to fishermen. He said Fenaka will hold discussions with fishermen to make further changes to the application and the company plans to introduce a credit scheme for fishermen to purchase ice.
Fishermen can use the Fenaka Ice application to purchase ice at the desired quantity and location. Users will be able to check the price and receive a message confirming their purchase. The application is available at www.ice.fenaka.mv.
