Ministry of Health has contracted Kilometre Engineering Private Limited to construct the extension building in the Heath Centre in Thimarafushi, Thaa Atoll.
Under the project, Kilometre Engineers will construct the boundary wall in addition to the extension building. As per the agreement, the contractor must complete the construction of the extension building and the boundary wall within 145 days. The project will cost over USD304,000.
The government has been working to solve the space constraints issues faced by health centres in the islands as part of the efforts to improve the healthcare system of the country.
