BCC opens SME Hub sample kiosks for public viewing

The Business Centre Corporation (BCC) has opened sample kiosks at the small and medium enterprises (SME) Hub for public viewing.

The SME Hub, which is being developed by BCC under the initiative of the Ministry of Economic Development, is located on the third floor of the Allied Building in Male' City. BCC stated that the three-floor commercial hub is being developed as a mall. It stated the hub will offer kiosks to all local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to promote their services and sell their products. It will also develop the hub for the SME community and plans to feature all business categories in the MSME sector.

Speaking to PSM News, Chief Commercial Officer of BCC Samih Adam highlighted the benefits of the SME Hub for small businesses. He said the hub allows businesses to market and sell their products at the kiosks and allow businesses to sell their products in its trial phase with minimal cost and eliminates the economic risk of new businesses renting their own spaces.

BCC stated that the sample kiosks will be open from October 16-17. The opportunity to apply for the kiosks is open until October 20.
