Gov’t introduces service to verify profile of registered businesses

Ministry of Economic Development has introduced the Business Portal service called the profile sheet verification service that will allow third parties to verify the profile of registered businesses.

The economic ministry stated that registered businesses such as companies, partnerships, sole traders and cooperative societies can now self-generate profile sheets through the business portal. Each profile sheet will contain a unique code that can be used by third parties to verify the profile.

Registered businesses can log on to the Business Portal and use the profile sheet generator tool available in the profile tab, generate a default profile sheet, and share the profile sheet with parties who require them to prove their business registration information.

Additionally, service seekers and providers can request a profile sheet when it is necessary, while a basic search of registered businesses can be conducted from the Business Registry. They download the profile sheet in PDF format and reuse the verification code for a six-month period to re-verify on the business portal. If the information has changed, it will be indicated by an exclamation mark. It means the profile sheet has outdated data and a new sheet should be requested from the respective business.
