Bridging the Communities Maldives, a non-governmental organisation (NGO), has announced that it will be holding a fundraising dinner night to help the victims of the Pakistan flood.
The fundraiser will be held on the evening of December 5 at the Manhattan Business Hotel. The dinner night will include cuisine from the Indian subcontinent and will showcase Pakistani culture including live music.
Guests at the event will include Pakistan High Commissioner to the Maldives Vice Admiral (Retired) Muhammad Fayyaz Gilani and other senior officials at the high commission. Tickets are available for the event at USD23. The event aims to raise funds to procure food and medicine for the victims of the flood.
