Housing Development Corporation (HDC) and Aloha Club have signed an agreement to develop a community hub in Hulhumale'.
The community hub will be designed to provide a wide range of activities for residents and visitors to Hulhumale' in a friendly environment with family and friends.
HDC said the community hub will be developed on a 406sqft land plot in Hulhumale' Phase I. The hub will consist of many activities for the public, including swimming for children, life skill programmes for youth, and special activities for elderly people. Further, the community hub will focus on conducting activities to raise awareness of environmental protection and sustainable development. It is the first such hub developed in Hulhumale'. However, many beach activities are already conducted in Hulhumale'.
HDC is working hard to make Hulhumale' a comfortable place for the people living in the city. As such, HDC has established facilities for the beach area and vacated the land used by businesses along the beach.
