Aasandha Company Limited has stated that efforts are underway to construct its own office building. Managing Director Ismail Azzam Wajeeh made the remarks while speaking at a ceremony held to mark the 11th anniversary of the national health insurance scheme provided by Aasandha. The ceremony was attended by Minister of Finance Ibrahim Ameer. Minister of Gender, Family and Social Services Aishath Mohamed Didi and senior employees of Aasandha.
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Ameer stressed the importance of finding ways to control the expenditure incurred under the Aasandha scheme and reduce waste. He also thanked the management and employees of the company for their hard work in providing health insurance services to the citizens of the Maldives.
Meanwhile, Deputy Managing Director of Aasandha Ibrahim Rasheed especially thanked President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih for the importance he attaches to the company's activities. He also mentioned the assistance and cooperation given by various government agencies in the work of the company.
The meeting also honoured the long-serving employees of the company with Minister Ameer and Minister Aishath handing over the certificates.
