Vice President Faisal Naseem has stated that the Road Development Corporation (RDC) has done a lot of work in a short period. He made the remarks while speaking at the third anniversary celebration of RDC.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice President Naseem said that the appreciation of employees is the most important foundation for the company's growth. He said that RDC is a company that works hard to achieve the pledges and policies of the government. As such, he said that RDC has taken the major responsibility for the redevelopment of Ameenee Magu in Male' City and requested the entire company to work together to expedite the work. He said that the main reason for the delay in the project was the contracting issues. In addition, he acknowledged the burden of the project and the difficult tasks to be done.
In conclusion, Vice President Naseem noted the important work being done by state-owned companies for the development of the Maldives. He highlighted the revolutionary changes being brought in road construction, infrastructure development projects, and transportation systems. He said that the various programmes being implemented by the companies to bring the job market to the country are benefiting the Maldivian economy.
