Mahibadhoo Council expresses gratitude for planned land reclamation project

Mahibadhoo Island Council has expressed its gratitude to President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih for earmarking in the state budget for next year the land reclamation project for Mahibadhoo, Alifu Dhaalu Atoll. The remarks were made at a meeting held with President Solih and members of the Mahibadhoo Island Council and the Women's Development Committee (WDC).

At the meeting, the council members noted that it had been 35 years since housing plots were last issued on the island, noting that the land reclamation project would help address space constraints on the island.
