President hosts luncheon in honour of Cambodian Prime Minister

President Ibrahim Mohamed has hosted an official luncheon in honour of the visiting Prime Minister of Cambodia Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen. The official luncheon was held at OBLU XPERIENCE Ailafushi.

Prime Minister Hun Sen is on an official visit to the Maldives at the invitation of President Solih. It is his first official visit to the Maldives.

During the visit, President Solih met with Prime Minister Hun Sen and discussed matters of mutual concern. The two leaders also held official talks between the two countries, where deliberations focused on strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation. As part of the official visit, key agreements were also signed between the two countries in visa facilitation, bilateral consultations, health cooperation, tourism cooperation, increasing trade, expanding investments, and economic cooperation aimed at further enhancing the existing relations.

The Maldives and Cambodia established diplomatic relations on September 21, 1995.
