BML has assured that customers that have their information compromised will be able to recover any stolen funds.
BML stated that it does not publish customer information but that merchants involved in e-commerce are vulnerable to scams used to steal their information. It noted that millions of people are impacted worldwide by phishing scams.
Additionally, BML stated that it continues to monitor for phishing scams and will immediately block any customer’s cards and reset their Internet Banking password upon request, if their personal information was compromised. It also stated they will be able to obtain a free new card.
BML assured that customers are fully protected and will not face any financial loss if their information is compromised and that they will be refunded.
