Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has announced the sale of land for the development of office buildings in Hulhumale'.
HDC decided to sell five plots of land for the office buildings. As such, three plots of 6,100sqm and two plots of 9,600sqm have been opened for the development of office buildings. HDC stated the land will be sold to 100% locally registered businesses. The land will be sold at a minimum price of USD291.8 per sqm. Individuals seeking 6,100sqm will have to pay bid security of USD32,425 and USD64,850 as bid security for 9,600sqm of land.
HDC stated that the land for the office buildings will be sold in an area located close to Tree Top Hospital. In addition, the office building will also include a commercial section and a basement parking area will be included as well as cafes and restaurants.
Interested parties have been given 10 days to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) for the development of office buildings. Bids can be submitted through the portal on the HDC website.
