Gov’t says it envisions society that promotes Islamic love

Vice President Faisal Naseem has stated that the administration envisions a caring society that promotes Islamic love. He made the remark at the ceremony held to inaugurate the Ran Thaaju Quran Recitation Competition.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice President Naseem commended the structure and format of the competition and extended his gratitude to the organisers, facilitators, and supporters. He also expressed hope that the programme will successfully achieve its aim of instilling the love of the Quran in the hearts and minds of the people and promoting the recitation of the holy book within Tajweed rules.

Additionally, Vice President Naseem spoke about the importance accorded by the administration to promoting religious awareness. He added that the administration held Quran recitation competitions during the COVID-19 pandemic and that the administration would hold Ihya forums nationwide to renew and revive the spirit of Ramadan. He went on to say that the administration envisions a caring society that promotes Islamic love.
