HDC seeks mechanical parking system operators

Housing Developing Corporation (HDC) is seeking companies interested in operating the mechanical parking systems in Hulhumale’.

Ten vertical mechanical parking systems were built in 2017 as a long-lasting solution to the increasing residential population in Hulhumale’. The systems were initially left incomplete as HDC had failed to pay the contractor due to financial constraints. However, the systems have now been prepared for operations and HDC opened six of the systems with 166 parking slots for proposals. Interested companies are required to submit their proposals on April 3.

The parking systems are specialised for four-wheeled vehicles. Five of the systems have 26 slots each for cars while one system has 36 slots.
