Managing Director of State Trading Organisation (STO) Hussain Amr has been dismissed from his position.
The Privatisation and Corporatisation Board (PCB) dismissed Managing Director Amr after receiving the request from the President’s Office. Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Mohamed Nizam is now the Acting Managing Director of STO.
The President’s Office stated that positions at state-owned companies are always subject to change and that the decision to dismiss Amr from his position is part of this process.
