Ministry of Islamic Affairs has revealed that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) donated 100 Iftar packages for distribution to the poor in the Maldives.
Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Ahmed Zahir received the the Iftar packages on behalf of the Maldives. UAE provided the packages through the Emirates Red Crescent.
The Iftar packages will be distributed to those registered as poor and needy in Male' City. The ministry will also determine the distribution process of these packages to those registered.
