The Privatisation and Corporatisation Board (PCB) has appointed Abdulla Saeed to the post of Managing Director of the State Trading Organisation (STO).
The certificate of appointment to Abdulla Saeed was handed over by the President of PCB Asim Mohamed at a ceremony held at the Ministry of Finance. During the ceremony, PCB shared information on the PCB Act and Corporate Governance and discussed the company's key objectives related to government policies.
Prior to his appointment as Managing Director of STO, Saeed was the Managing Director of the Maldives State Shipping Company Private Limited. He was appointed to STO following the removal of Hussain Amr on March 26.
