Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has relaunched its e-portal.
IGMH has announced that patients' laboratory records and prescriptions can now be viewed using the e-portal. Patients can now easily access their medical records by visiting the e-portal and logging in via their e-Faas account.
In December 2021, IGMH launched the e-portal and a mobile application along with its Hospital Management Information System (HMIS), to manage all medical records digitally. The system enabled he hospital to provide online services to its patients in making appointments and providing access to prescriptions, lab reports and other such documents. However, the hospital closed the e-portal in early 2022.
IGMH has been making efforts to improve their services. As such, the hospital opened a special box for renewing prescriptions for long-term medicines on its premises earlier this year. The drop box was set up to solve the difficulties encountered in obtaining new prescriptions.
