Gov’t contracts to build classrooms in Kondey School

Ministry of Education has contracted Wall Sea Private Limited to build four classrooms in Kondey School, Gaafu Alifu Atoll.

The agreement was signed by Senior Policy Director of the Education Minister Naushad Ibrahim and Managing Director of Wall Sea Affaaf Saeed. Wall Sea is tasked with building four classrooms within 180 days at a cost of USD310,000. The project is included in the Public Sector Investment Programme (PSIP) budget for 2022.

The project is part of the efforts of the education ministry to develop infrastructure and procure the necessary equipment and resources in all schools in the country. A large part of the state budget has been allocated for the development of education.
