Manta Air, a Maldivian domestic airline, has procured an additional seaplane to expand its fleet.
The seaplane arrived in the Maldives six days after leaving the United States (US). Manta Air will have 19 aircraft in its seaplane fleet with the additional seaplane. The new seaplane will be operational within the next two weeks.
Manta Air provides seaplane services to many resorts in the Maldives since it became operational in February 2019. In addition to seaplane operations, Manta Air provides flights to domestic terminals on its ATR model aircraft.
