MMPRC signs with partners of Visit Maldives Storytellers' Conference

The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC ) has signed with several supporting companies as the partners of the Visit Maldives Storytellers’ Conference 2023.

The partner companies include Crossroads Maldives as host property, Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA) as seaplane partner, Maldivian as domestic airline partner, Jalboot Maldives as sea transport travel partner, Dhiraagu as technology and communication partner, the Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company Limited (MIFCO) as sustainable fisheries partner, and the Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) as supporting partner.

MMPRC stated that the conference, to be held from May 30 to June 2, will bring together over 60 content creators from around the world at the largest gathering of travel writers, journalists, bloggers, influencers, and media experts in the Maldives this year. At the end of the conference, the winners of the social media competition will have the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the beauty, experiences, and hospitality of the Maldives. Participants can enjoy experiences ranging from snorkelling with mantas and whale sharks to watersports, culinary tours, island-hopping, and even sandbank picnics.

MMPRC stated that the sideline experiences will be conducted in eight different regions of the Maldives, each with its distinctive features, activities, and experiences. The estimated social media reach of the event is 130 million worldwide and 14 million engagements. The supporting partners of the conference also play a significant role in supporting MMPRC in hosting the conference.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Thoyyib Mohamed stated that MMPRC is grateful for the support and contribution provided by the partners of the conference in their assistance. He said that the tourism industry in the Maldives works in partnership with each and not alone.

The Visit Maldives Storytellers’ Conference is the largest and most ambitious event by MMPRC to date. The conference and the sideline experiences are carefully curated to provide storytellers with a comprehensive understanding and view of the Maldives.
