The Job Festival titled Fahi Furusath, hosted by the Maldives National University (MNU), has garnered an exceptional response compared to previous years. The primary objective of the MNU Job Festival is to provide valuable information about current employment opportunities, while also encouraging individuals to apply for jobs.
This initiative serves as a platform to connect job creators, employers, students, and individuals seeking growth in various technical and skilled fields. The festival featured 32 stalls from a diverse range of employers, including Public Service Media (PSM), encompassing sectors such as arts and culture, utilities, maritime transport, and more.
Shahda Moosa, the Marketing Manager at MNU, emphasised that the event's main focus was to educate MNU students about the available job prospects. She expressed delight in the fact that over 1,000 individuals visited the festival on its opening day, underscoring the exceptional response it has received compared to previous years.
PSM, as one of the participating employers, presented various job opportunities and experiences across their channels at the event. These openings include positions such as Assistant Journalist, Temporary Journalist, Assistant Producer, Senior Engineer Technician, Assistant Engineer Technician, Assistant On-Air Operator, Senior Layout Designer, and Human Resource Officer. Additionally, PSM is actively seeking temporary employees to provide coverage for the upcoming presidential election.
