Bank of Maldives (BML) has decided to open two new self-service banking ATMs in Hulhumale’ Phase II.
The decision to install two ATMs in Hulhumale' Phase II was announced by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director of BML Karl Stumke while speaking at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held at the Islamic Centre in Male' City, He said the relevant agreements are being signed and the necessary procedures are being carried out to install the ATMs. He also said that the BML is also making efforts to establish a bank outlet in Hulhumale' Phase II.
Additionally, Karl emphasised the importance of being at the forefront of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives. He also said that BML is making efforts to install 56 solar-powered ATMs this year as part of its efforts to reduce the negative impact on the environment.
BML has expanded its network to 35 branches across 20 atolls in the Maldives with 81 self-service banking centres and 139 ATMs. BML also stated it is committed to supporting individuals, businesses, and communities across the country.
