Vice President calls to teach children religious duties in holidays

Vice President Faisal has called on parents and guardians to teach their children chores and religious duties during school holidays, citing that these activities can help children develop essential life skills and values, including responsibility, time management, and teamwork, and provide them with a sense of community, purpose, and morality. He made these remarks while delivering a speech at the Mohamed Qasim Preschool graduation ceremony for 2022-2023 held at Huravee School in Hulhumale'.

During the ceremony, Vice President Naseem urged parents and guardians to identify their children's strengths and called on them to help children develop those strengths. He said that children should be trained in skills and that parents and teachers share the responsibility of developing children into skilled individuals. In addition, he called on parents and guardians to ensure their children become productive citizens that contribute to national progress.

At the ceremony, Vice President Naseem also distributed scrolls to graduates from UKG1 to UKG8. Mohamed Qasim Preschool was established on October 24, 2021, and currently has 462 students, including 36 children with special needs. The school saw 198 students graduate in the academic year 2022-2023.
