The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has hosted a successful roadshow in Seoul, South Korea. The roadshow aimed to connect with potential operators and agents in Seoul, further strengthening trade relationships and promoting the Maldives as a top destination for South Korean travellers. MMPRC stated that a total of 11 prominent companies from the Maldivian tourism industry are taking part in the roadshow, showcasing offerings to the South Korean market. The participation of the companies further emphasises the commitment of the Maldives tourism sector to cater to the preferences and demands of South Korean travellers. MMPRC conducted a social media contest during the roadshow in Seoul and the winners won Maldives-themed merchandise. In addition, a raffle was held and two lucky winners won a free holiday in the Maldives. A raffle will also be held during the roadshow in Busan for two more lucky winners. MMPRC stated that the primary objectives of the roadshow is to maintain South Korea as one of the key source markets for the Maldives and to foster stronger partnerships with potential travel agents and industry partners. The event aligns with our market strategies to promote individual products and provide unique experiences to South Korean travellers.
