In an interview with PSM News, Thoyyib emphasized the tremendous responsibility MMPRC undertakes in spearheading tourism promotion in the Maldives. He praised the dedicated efforts of every MMPRC employee, who diligently strive to execute their tasks to the best of their abilities.
Thoyyib further expressed his satisfaction with the acceptance and recognition of MMPRC's work by the founders and senior officials of the tourism sector. He highlighted that President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih takes a keen interest in MMPRC's endeavors, closely monitoring the company's work and offering valuable guidance and encouragement to further enhance their efforts.
Moreover, Thoyyib confirmed that MMPRC's efforts are ongoing, with a multitude of activities and initiatives scheduled throughout the year. So far, they have successfully accomplished 60% of the planned events, with a total of 120 activities already conducted. Thoyyib emphasized that there are numerous upcoming fairs, marketing campaigns, and social media initiatives scheduled as part of the company's plan. Additionally, he highlighted MMPRC's active engagement in essential efforts to promote the Maldives in the online market.
Thoyyib pointed out that the Visit Maldives Storytellers' Conference was one of the most successful and ambitious events organized by MMPRC this year. The conference attracted over 80 influential individuals from the travel industry. He proudly mentioned that MMPRC's outstanding efforts have been honored with the prestigious World's Leading Destination award for three consecutive years, and their achievement in winning the World's Leading Tourist Board award further solidifies their position as the top tourism promotion board worldwide.
