The national health insurance provider, Aasandha Company Limited, has launched the My Aasandha Portal to provide easier access to its services.
The web portal was launched to make it easier for individuals to seek government help for healthcare financing. As such, individuals can now submit applications online via the portal instead of having to go to the Aasandha front office or counters. The web portal can be accessed using the eFaas account.
Aasandha will only accept the recommendation form filled out by the doctor for treatment abroad through the portal from August 15 onwards. The portal includes other services such as submitting documents for Aasandha and welfare assistance, submitting additional documents through, and filling out doctor's recommendation forms. Users can also check the status of the application at any time through the portal.
The portal is expected to eliminate the need for individuals to wait in queues. However, Aasandha stated that services will still be available at the counter.
