President inaugurates infrastructure projects in Hulhudheli

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has inaugurated the completion of several infrastructure projects in Hulhudheli, Dhaalu Atoll.

The projects included a water supply network, an upgraded harbour, as well as a powerhouse, and an office of Fenaka Corporation Limited. The projects were inaugurated during President Solih’s visit to Dhaalu Atoll.

The harbour was constructed by Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) and featured a 277m outer sea wall, a 432m quay wall, and other harbour-related works. The island’s water supply network was developed by SAS E. Construction Private Limited. The new Fenaka powerhouse and office in Hulhudheli are equipped with modern facilities and have a power generation capacity of 1,070KW.

Under President Solih’s leadership, the administration has made significant progress toward achieving equitable development across all inhabited islands in the Maldives. The progress includes improving the quality of life for citizens and empowering them to lead dignified lives.

During his visits to various islands, President Solih is officially inaugurating the completion of numerous projects and services.
