President inaugurates infrastructure projects in Madaveli

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has inaugurated the completion of two infrastructure projects in Madaveli, Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll.

The projects included the newly completed extension of the healthcare centre and the water supply network. The projects were inaugurated during President Solih’s visit to several islands in Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll.

The extension to the healthcare centre includes three Out Patient Department (OPD) rooms, a laboratory, an emergency room, a reception space, an injection room, and a dressing room. They would help improve and strengthen healthcare services by providing more space and resources for medical professionals to treat patients. The project was contracted to A Man Maldives Private Limited. The water supply network project was contracted to Triveni Engineering and Industries Limited.

The administration has made significant progress towards achieving equitable development across all inhabited islands in the Maldives. It includes improving the quality of life for citizens and empowering them to lead dignified lives. During his visits to various islands, President Solih is officially inaugurating the completion of numerous projects and services.
