President inaugurates key projects in Maalhendhoo, Kudafari

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has inaugurated several infrastructure projects in Maalhendhoo and Kudafari in Noonu Atoll.

The projects include the water and sewerage networks on both islands and a football ground in Kudafari. The completion of the projects represents a significant milestone in the development of the atolls.

The water and sewerage networks on Maalhendhoo and Kudafaree Islands were contracted to the Male' Water and Sewerage Company Private Limited (MWSC). The projects have now been completed, with water and sewerage connections established for households in both islands and services fully operational. In addition, the football ground was constructed by V.A.M. and Company Private Limited and boasts modern amenities and a turf designed to support young athletes and promote healthy lifestyles.

Under the leadership of President Solih, the administration has made significant strides toward achieving equitable development across all inhabited islands in the Maldives. The progress made includes enhancing the quality of life for citizens and empowering them to lead dignified lives.

During his visits to various islands, President Solih is officially inaugurating the completion of numerous projects and services.
