President inaugurates infrastructure projects in Manadhoo

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has marked the completion of several infrastructure projects in Manadhoo, Noonu Atoll.

The projects include the development of a water supply network, six Outpatient Department (OPD) rooms, and a laboratory in Noonu Atoll Hospital. A multipurpose hall was also constructed in the Noonu Atoll Education Centre, along with an indoor gym, a modern football ground, and an office of Fenaka Corporation Limited.

Vishwaraj Environment Private Limited completed the water system project in Manadhoo under a USD800 million line-of-credit facility from the Exim Bank of India. As a result, 269 households have been connected to the water network. In addition, the new Fenaka office, developed in the harbour area, can accommodate up to 30 staff members. The developments mark significant progress in the infrastructure of Manadhoo.

Under President Solih's leadership, the administration has made significant progress toward achieving equitable development across all inhabited islands in the Maldives. The progress made includes improving the quality of life for citizens and empowering them to lead dignified lives.

During his visits to various islands, President Solih is officially inaugurating the completion of numerous projects and services.
