President inaugurates projects in Goidhoo

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has inaugurated development projects in Goidhoo, Baa Atoll. The projects include the island's water supply and sewerage network, a skate park, and a volleyball court.

The Male' Water and Sewerage Company Private Limited (MWSC) was contracted to develop the water supply and sewerage network. The water service delivery has been initiated with the completion of residential connections.

Additionally, Maldives Assure Supply developed the volleyball court on the island as part of the administration's focus on developing sports infrastructure. Brothers Mall was contracted to develop the skate park, which is popular among the youth on the island.

The administration said it has made significant progress toward achieving equitable development across all inhabited islands in the Maldives. The progress made includes improving the quality of life for citizens and empowering them to lead dignified lives.
